Inspiration

Sometimes, all it takes is a change of scenery…

…away from the routine of the everyday…

Felicity, eleven (almost), certainly thought so…

As I waded into the cool shallow water, the waterfall’s drops pelted against the smooth surface. I swam under it into  a small sea cave where I could see the dolphins playing in the waves. The speckled fish darts in and out from under the rocks in the clear blue of the deep lake.

As for me…all it takes is a tent and a beach.

And you? Knowing when it’s time to get away, take a break, and recharge is every bit as important as a daily writing routine.

I didn’t realise that adding ‘A Cracker and Gilly Mystery’ to the title of FORBIDDEN in our cover design would be a great sales decision. Readers like being able to identify with the characters of your story and they are keen to stay with them in any future adventures…we now have three ‘Cracker and Gilly’ mysteries in the cue for publication and our Young Adult readers are keen for more….I think it’s time to introduce my co-writer in crime, my brother and adventure sharer, who inspired our stories…stay tuned…he’s psyching himself up for the photo shoot…
